a flight that changed my life

Most people always went through an event that has a great impact on their lives, changing the very manner in which they view life and perceive it. My story might not outstanding to other people, but for me, it was a spectacular changed. For years in my life, I would never forget the first time I had my first flight. My family and I immigrated to a new country that I never thought of. Because of that flight, my life had changed from one culture to a different culture in just 24 hours on the airplane

It was winter in 2006 when my family and I decided to move out of the country. One week before the departure date, my mum told me that her, my brother, and I needed to immigrate to the United State of America for better lives. I was a teenager at the age of 14 years old at that time. I didn’t really know how my life would be in the U. S, but I was surprised to have a chance to travel outside the country for the first time. The time was liked a flash, I couldn’t had a enough time to say farewell to my friends and my special person, who is my great grandmother.

The boarding time for my first flight had come, and I was so exited to watch my motherland from above. That was to have a better life for my family, but my tears just dropped for no reasons, may be I was scared or missed my old house. Well, no more tears to wasted; I boarded the plane with my family and took off. On August 2006 at nighttime, my plane had landed at International Airport of Houston. From the moment I stepped out of the plane, a whole new destiny of mine were waiting ahead of me, and I knew my life would completely changed.

The tall and big skyscrapers of the city and the new climate had inspired me. Once I saw the enormous buildings and the city light of a well developed country, I had told myself that I will learned how to create those stuffs when I grown older. I started to like my new home instantly because of the winter weather and modern technology that I had never seen. I also said to myself “ I have to achieve my goals and live on the top floor of a skyscraper one day. There weren’t much time to rest and traveled around town, I started my school immediately after received my immigration document. As a person who didn’t know much about English language, the beginning of my school was liked a loss in the Amazon forest. I had turned myself from a non-speaking English to a person who can speak and understand most of the English. A few years later, my life had changed days by days, and I had adapted to a new living environment. That flight had changed me to a better person with a magnificent future. Living in the U.

S, I was almost lost my motivation because of people I used to hang out with. However, I took advantage to keep myself focused on the positive changed and committed to my goals. I learned that, immigrated to U. S, had give me a new life and showed me a new world as well. I managed myself to live in a positive and always remembered of who I was and where I came from. Today I had been seeing a significant changed in myself from time to time. I will show the world that the changed of my life helped me to become a successful person in the future.

A great opportunity to reside and studying in a high education country had taught me to become a person to take a benefit occasion to achieve my dreams and goals. If it were not from that first flight of my life, I would never see myself as I am today. I keep on my persistence no matter how obstinate situations I had faced and keep concentrate on the positive changed of my life. It also gave me strength and motivates myself to achieve my goals every time I think of myself as an immigrant.
