Part 1 of your assignment is the research component of your ecological activity and subsequent green technologies that can help reduce the impact of your selected activity. You are required to include information from peer-reviewed scientific sources surrounding the ecological footprint activity you have selected. The following questions are a guideline and should be addressed in proper essay format – On average how much is being wasted of what you are trying to reduce?

What are the consequences of this ecological footprint to us and the planet if this continues? – Besides your plan of reducing the specific ecological footprint, what green technologies are present to continue to help reduce this ecological footprint? – Describe how these green technologies work. – Critique the use of these green technologies – Could the use of the green technologies researched have helped your group be more successful in your proposal? Explain. – Are these green technologies useful to the average person?

Explain. – How are other countries dealing with this ecological footprint issue without the help of money or green technologies? – What are the ethical issues surrounding these green technologies (society, behaviour and global impact? ) Each group will submit 1 copy of their written report. Every report should include the question that is being addressed in addition to the name(s) responsible for that section. PART II: Presentation [10 marks] Each group is required to give a 10 minute presentation on their journey and findings.

The presentation is required to inform your fellow learners on: (1) How your group did putting the plan into action? (2) Highlights of the problems associated with you activity (3) What green technologies are present in the market to help reduce your specific activity? (4) Are these green technologies truly green? The presentation is an addition to your report. You are not expected to cover all the research you did in your 10minute presentation but only highlight key areas of interest that your group found important and necessary for the class to know and understand.
